Flying Fish Drawing

I utilize handcrafted artwork drawings as precise plans for my sculptures. These mixed media renderings incorporate a blend of materials and offer a true-to-life representation of the final product's scale.

My original concept for monumental fish sculpture involved creating a charcoal and oil crayon drawing on carton paper. This drawing served as the blueprint for the sculpture, which was made from metal. By starting with a traditional drawing technique, I infused a sense of organic and naturalistic beauty into the final sculpture.
