Commission a Sculpture
Daniella Rubinovitz creates site specific and monumental sculptures for public spaces, sculpture gardens, institutions, hospitality projects and private collections.
Each commission begins with the location and its context. Scale, material, movement, surrounding architecture and the way people encounter the work all become part of the development process.
Projects can range from intimate works for private gardens to large scale sculptures for public and architectural environments. Daniella works with materials including bronze, steel, wood, concrete and mixed media, depending on the character of the work and the demands of the site.
Public and Private Commissions
Commissions may include public art, monumental outdoor sculpture, site specific works, sculpture for gardens and private estates, hospitality and corporate projects, or adaptations of existing sculptural concepts.
A commission can begin with an existing work or idea, or it can be developed specifically for a particular location.
The Process
Every project starts with a conversation about the site, scale, intention, budget and practical requirements.
From there, the process may include concept development, drawings, maquettes, material studies and technical development. For larger works, Daniella collaborates with specialist fabricators, engineers, foundries and installers when required.
The aim is to develop a work that feels inseparable from its setting while retaining a strong sculptural identity.
Projects can be developed from initial concept through fabrication and final installation.
Discuss a Commission
If you are considering a sculpture for a public space, garden, institution, hospitality project or private collection, enquiries are welcome at an early stage.
You do not need to arrive with a finished idea. A conversation about the location, scale, atmosphere and possibilities is often the starting point.
