This project is a collaboration with fellow artist Carla Rump. We completed this project on site at Somme-Leuze, Belgium during the week of May 30-June 6, 2026.
It remains on display for four years and until nature takes over.

We are nature. In this land-art project, we bring traces of human life into the forest—not as something separate from the landscape, but as part of it.
Cercle des sentiers consists of abstract clothing forms. This familiar domestic gesture connects generations, households and village communities. It becomes a reflection on shared routines, collective memory and our relationship with the places we inhabit.
The “laundry” is formed from steel, wool and clay, supported by elements of wood. The installation will gradually transform and become part of the forest. Nature does not simply surround the work; it continues to shape and complete it.
Created during the 2026 Sentiers d’Art artist residency, the installation forms part of the 160-kilometre open-air art route through Belgium’s Condroz-Famenne region.
