This temporary Land Art is a collaboration with fellow artist Carla Rump. We completed this project on site at Somme-Leuze, Belgium during the week of May 30-June 6, 2026.
We are nature. Site-specific installation commissioned for Sentiers d’Art, Condroz-Famenne
Wool is a fully realized, site-specific installation created during the 2026 Sentiers d’Art residency in Somme-Leuze, Belgium. Abstract forms suspended within the forest explored domestic labour, clothing, memory and the boundary between human activity and the natural landscape.
Constructed from steel wool, clay and wood, the work brought together apparent softness and physical resistance. Exposure to rain and air initiated rust, erosion and material change, allowing the forest to participate in the installation.
